Maintenance & Support

The routine maintenance needed to protect your SubAir System couldn’t be much simpler.

Once you’ve committed to SubAir, the best subsurface aeration system on earth, it only makes sense that you give it a little ongoing TLC.

You are encouraged to perform a bi-annual inspection of each your SubAir units in the spring and fall. Doing so on a regular basis will help reduce the cost of maintaining your SubAir. Although our products are known for their dependability, scheduled inspections can protect your SubAir investment by identifying a small problem that potentially could escalate in the future.

You are encouraged to run each SubAir Vault for 20 minutes each month to ensure the motor runs properly and to lubricate the bearings inside the motor.

  • Remove the vault inspection port cover and examine the inside of the vault.
  • Check the sump pump operation.
  • Make sure the sump pump is attached securely at the base and top.
  • Make sure the float switch moves freely and that the actuator moves the diverter paddle from vacuum to pressure and returns to the fail safe position.
  • Clean any debris from the exhaust/intake.

The SubAir Control Panels are exceptionally easy to maintain.

  • Remove all spider webs, leaves, and other debris that has accumulated over the year.
  • Clean the faceplate with mild cleanser.
  • Check the test light to make sure it is working properly.
  • Add a little granular insecticide to the bottom of your panel to keep the critters out.
  • Check all the 2-amp fuse indicators as well as the weather stripping seal.

You can opt for a SubAir Service and Support Package in order to provide certainty that your SubAir units are in top operating condition year round.
