The SubAir Sport Forced Heat provides expanded response to moderating temperatures in the subsurface. Forced Heat is a cost-effective heat supply combined with SubAir Sport in Pressure mode.

  • The most consistent, uniform subgrade heating method option to hydronic heating.
  • 3MM BTU Direct Fire Furnace can produce 28,000 CFM of 148° airflow into the rootzone.
  • Custom designed and engineered for each installation to achieve temperature and air flow to every square foot of the field.
  • Proactively prepare for changing environmental conditions that initiate seasonal dormancy.

SubAir Sport Hydronics

Hydronic heating combined with SubAir Sport operations is the most effective and efficient subsurface heating system for turf.  With multi-zone operations, the entire field is monitored and treated to sustain turf growth and health.

  • Raise field temperature by 23-28°
  • Reduce freezing, eliminate frost and eliminate over-seeding
  • Automatic response and operations using real-time wireless sensor data
  • Hydronics used in conjunction with SubAir Sports allows:
    • Substantially reduce the time to heat the field with Pressure Mode to move heated air up into the rootzone.
    • Quickly remove moisture from frozen precipitation that melts on turf to maintain stable turf
